nw is onli 3.45pm..still gt a few more hrs to go be4 sch ends at 6pm!!! =s e hectic timetable is killin mi slowly,argh!
yesterday is my fp..went to e center again. i am goin to conduct 1 of my lesson plan and that is paper weaving! e materials took mi one night to get it all done..gt to draw and cut it out. somemore gt to laminate it juz in case e paper tear and e effort wasted. was rather shocled n nervous when e teacher juz leave the whole classroom n e 8 children to mi,ha=p i dint even know wat to do intially as tis is my ever 1st lesson wif e kids. but i was thinkin that since no staff or whoever is ard to watch mi..i would juz carry out e lesson at my own style and pace =) e tune-in activity i gt them is the exploration of the "feeling bag". i gt them to feel what is inside and tell mi e shape of e object that dey r holdin on. most of them were quite lost upon wat to do n say. so in e end, i juz ended tis activity in ard 5 mins time =p Failure! next i showed dem e pic tat i gt 4 dem to weave..dey r gettin excited as dey kept raisin up their hands to comment =) then, i gathereed dem at a table n showed dem e correct way to weave..heng dey picked up new things fast, or guessed i will haf to demo again n again =s durin e process..e kids juz sit there n quietly weave,heh. i gt to admit tat it is kinda borin but NO CHOICE! i helpde them to cut away e excess paper n get them to stick their work in any corner of the classroom that dey would like to place. dey were like searchin high n low 4 a sutiable place coz e classroom is already filled up wif pics and charts! =p after tat, i took dem out 4 outdoor as i promised to do so. it is fun while watchin e kids playin and gettin myself involved..but tirin though.
next wk i will be goin back to e center 4 make-up n at e same time goin to carry out my 2nd lesson plan..prayin hard tat hui cheng gong! =D
