1st day at childcare center*
went to e new childcare center at yishun 2dae =) actually i am not tat nervous abt it..juz lookin quite 4ward to it. bein kia-see..i reached e center be4 8.30am..aha. rather shocked upon knowin frm e admin staff tat e other attachie dint bother to cal at al or make a trip down to e center be4 our FP starts =s was wonderin wat our mentor will think of her. tot she is supposed to ask abt e teacher or mentor abt e theme but instead, she msged to ask mi abt it =s hope she is fine =p
bonded wif e children by smilin at them and gettin involved in their activities..tat's e way tat i always used to bond wif dem..it WORKS! e children will surround mi whenever i sit down on e floor wif dem =p den think e teachers not reali happy abt it n kept askin dem to move away. One boy even climbed up the water pipe to see mi frm far..aha =p but he gt punished by e teacher =s
another boy, Jacky who is in my class told mi tat he reali love mi..aha. mayb coz i took e effort to play and interact wif him ba. i am juz gald tat e children likes mi =) but there are 2 special needs children in my class. One is an autistic child and e other is sufferin frm down syndrome. Actually i feel reali proud of dem coz dey can just do wat other kids is doin. just tat their developmental level is not tat encouragin. Oh yA! e toilet over there is CLEAN! =D one thing tat i reali nid to improve on is e interaction and communication wif e staffs over there.
cant wait for tml to go down again =)
