tomorrow is the day for FOOD FAIR (:
parents are going to stream in at 10am till 12pm
to root for their child (like how 1 of my parent commented)
aha

it doesnt help a little in de-stressing
in fact,
i am starting to tell myself that;
i certainly have to do a good job and impress the parents (:

since the day i gt the news for the food fair,
i have started on the preparations of deco and stuffs
such as their costumes and the receipe list (:
and while i was continuing with my stuff this evening,
a teacher commented, "wah, you really got loads of time ah."
*coz she saw that i really put in loads of effort and time to source for pictures and details
pls la,
yes, i do haf loads of time and it's my PERSONAL TIME!
i dont mind spending it on my children's stuffs
just to get the day/activity done up beautifully
i simply cant stand those teachers tt are not even "willing" to spare a couple of mins onto their children
BOO!
a so -called full time teacher =s

for the whole of a week, i am down with
sore throat, bad cough and hoarse voice
it's getting bad
remedies, anyone? (:

haf on-going meetings ever since tis week started,
PTC, MI (multiple intelligence) buzz, food fair, parent-child sports day, NLB field trip
all these alone can force me up to the wall

let me list down the stuffs i nid to get it done by june
to serve as a remainder/checklist for me;

PTC
- childrens' work samples
- observation records
- childrens' fotos
- parents' pre-PTC feedback form

MI (multiple intelligence) buzz
- literature based (eric carle books)
- exhibition hall
- parent child sports day
- performance from each class
- 8 integrated MI activity plans
- 4 weeks of the usual activity plans

Food fair

- childrens' apparels (to design and make for them to wear)
- package for the food items

Curriculum

- photos for the cooking process of the food fair

Workshops
- 8 training/workshops to attend
- 2 weekends
- 6 weekdays

call me a superwoman upon the completed ticks for the list
ohwhatever.

phew!

haf 3 new kids in my class since yesterday,

which makes up the total of 10!

DISASTER!

1st day - 01/04/08

they just practically scream their heads off.

screaming and shoving you away, just like their enemy

it went on for 30mins,

then triggered the another 2 kids to join in the crying =s

so u can imagine tt i haf 5/10 kids crying in the enclosed area

cant do anything because i cant even hear my voice!

guess wat, i just sat there and watched them being "dramatic"

aha

tt's wat will happen when a teacher is too tired and sick of it

2nd day - 02/04/08

BETTER!

they stopped soon after i arrived at 10am sharp

me and the chinese teacher discovered the "method" to deal with their crying

lalalaalalalalalaalalala

there's one thing to mention,

1 of the new kid's ah ma cried upon hearing/seeing her grandson crying pathetically =s

saying tt she is the one who brought the child up and she juz cant let go

so both me and the principal (Joan) reassured her

actually, we understand how she is feeling,

but she will haf to let go in order for her grandson to learn and adapt (:

so, she went off with the grandpa

and TA~DA! her grandson was okay after some coaxing

can see that she felt really relieved and happy upon picking him up.

ah ma: pls haf the trust in me, alright? (:

tmw another battle day with them again! GO GO GO!

btw, kelly's mum bought a set of really nice storybooks for me and the class

it comes in a complete set of;

18 storybooks

1 teacher guide (printable worksheets, lesson plans)
