For this year of the
MI BUZZ PROJECT
(multiple intelligences)
my centre decided on this topic:
Children all around the world!
and guess which country tt i haven chosen for my class?
HOLLAND!~
with the:
windmills,
dutch lady,
wooden shoe,
tulips
i have loads of activities in mind for them!
- create windmill and get them to go outdoor with it
- come together as a class to create a landscape of holland (with the large mirror that i have in my class)
- compare currencies
- dutch songs/basic greetings.
WOAH!
loads, aint it?
so right now,
my kids have mastered the basic dutch language, such as
Hi- Hoi
I am sorry - Hei Spitj Me
Excuse me - Pardon

Good Morning - Goedemorgen
My name is... - Ik heet...
plus,
they are able to recognise the holland flag, with the correct colour combination!
(:
they can even sing the kids dutch song rhythmically now!!
